Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course connects concepts you learn in anatomy with the behaviors of the human psyche to help you better understand how and why people think the way they do.

    Course highlights:

The main highlight were the different lobes of structures of the brain and how they work together. I also learned that severing the corpus callosum (the line between the two brain halves) can stop constant seizures, but hinders abstract thinking because the two brain halves can't communicate with each other anymore. This was interesting to me because I plan to be a chemical engineer or a bioengineer in the future.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure that you do your homework on time or even early if you can so you have more time to study for the weekly tests. Take notecards and create an outline with diagrams from the book for each chapter to help you organize better.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class because Mrs. Sheckell is an amazing teacher. She keeps the class intrigued by doing many conversations and many activities that keep the whole class interested and entertained all while we are learning.

    Course highlights:

A big highlight of this course were learning the Pegs because now I can remember a list of twenty words in a minute and thirty seconds.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to actually do your work because if you don't then this class will be awful.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course for two reasons. One being that it helped explore the complex society each culture has established through intense and intraspective lessons. The other reason is that it sparked the urge for me to be more curious, question more norms of society; why? And how? All while teaching me there are still many things in the psychological world that have yet to be explained.

    Course highlights:

This course had several highlights, one highlight that stuck out the most for me was learning about the ethical aspects of performing psychogical experiments. The course showed that it wasn't all about electric shock and fear tactics but conducting an experiment required procedures just like every other field of science.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Take this course if your school offers it! Not only are you involved with great discussions evolving every aspect of life but you are also opened to a new world of interesting facts and people.
