    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

The class is actually very fun. You get to do a lot of experiments and you're often given the chance to work in groups. You learn a lot over the course of the year which extends to many different topics.

    Course highlights:

There's a lot of experiments in this course. You can work with different substance to determine how they interact with one another. In one experiment you get to place substances over a fire and see how it affects it. Towards the end of the year you get to create your own tie dye shirt.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Take time to memorize! A lot of information is presented at a time in this class, so there is no just remembering off the top of your head for exams or quizes.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course prepared me extremely well for College General Chemistry. While yes, the goal of AP classes may be to get the credit, retaking the course once in college because it benefited me as a Pharmacy major, I found this course prepared me extremely well for General Chemistry.

    Course highlights:

In this course I learned the basics of Chemistry, ranging from Gas Laws, to Equilibrium, for the most part this class was what you could expect from a General Chemistry I and part of II class. The slow nature and going more in depth on each topic really prepared for the fast pace of General Chemistry already having a base knowledge.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

If I could offer any advice to students about to take this course it would be to be prepared to study. This class is taught very much in a college manor where you are required to do work out of class in order to succeed so prepare yourself.
