Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Since I have taken this specific course throughout my junior year, I have become better at writing and better as an overall student. I was blessed with Mrs. Randall James as my teacher and she influenced us, as a class, to be better in everything that we do. This course has encouraged me to say what I feel in a respectable fashion.

    Course highlights:

Throughout this course, I have gained the assurance that I will go into college knowing how to write. My teacher taught me to be a better student, leader, and an overall person.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

I would advise each student to study and work hard. Although this class is not excruciatingly hard, if a student does not put any time or effort in the course, he has set himself up for failure.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course, because it teaches one how to effectively and sophisticatedly write a paper. It also teaches ways to write according to the writer's intending purpose and audience.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course was being able to recieve feedback on one's essays and how he/she could improve it. This will allow one to be successful in college, because writing papers will come natural to those who were able to triumphantly complete the AP English course. I learned how to pursuade my readers just based off of my word choice and syntax. I also learned that the language you utilize in your essays will reflect the emotion it portrays to the reader.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

My advice to other students would be to not wait until the night before to begin writing your essay. You will need to begin at least the day of when the essay is assigned, so you can begin brainstorming ideas. After you brainstorm ideas, think of who your audience is and what they would want to hear. This is especially true if you are writing a pursuasive essay.
