    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend this course. It greatly expanded my perspective on various issues while teaching me how to read critically and write more effectively.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to effectively manage my time by completely practice AP exams that involved writing essays and taking multiple choice critical reading tests. I also learned how to write an essay that effectively traced the prompt throughout the entire topic of the piece I was writing about.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not procrastinate on the reading and writing assignments. Once you get behind, it is difficult to get back on track. Engaging in the class discussions about the reading helps retaining information become easier.
