    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I highly recommend this course to those interested in anything and everything to do with life on earth. I recommend this especially to anyone interested in science or planning to go to medical school, as this is required in college.

    Course highlights:

The highlights are never ending with this course. One of the many is the exciting labs. One day you may do a lab with peas and measure cellular respiration rates, and the other, measuring wave lengths of color absorbtion with a spectrometer.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would consider reading the modules you're learning in class before your teacher begins his or her lecture. This way you will already be familiar with the material before class. This makes it easier because when the teacher lectures, you will be able to follow along and get a better understanding of what you just read. I also suggest reading the chapter again to study for the exam on that chapter.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I highly recommend this class to anyone who has a real interest in science. Even if you don't have an interest, I recommend it. This class in genuinely really interesting and you do a lot of cool labs. It also prepares you for when you go to college.

    Course highlights:

A few highlights of this course are basic chemistry, cells, and evolution. These concepts play a huge part throughout the course. I learned a lot about these topics over the year.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to read the textbook every night and be ready to take notes in class. Also, take the study period so that you can participate in the labs. This is a fast pace course, challenging but manageable.
