    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I recommend taking this course if your intended college major requires it. This way, you'll already have been exposed to the material by the time you get to college.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to teach myself, how to problem solve, and how to work in study groups.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Doing the homework and asking questions is very helpful.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It is challenging but you learn a lot about how numbers work and are applicable to your life. It requires studying almost every night and I definitely recommend to any student who is interested in studying physics, engineering, or mathematics in college.

    Course highlights:

I learned study skills that are applicable to a math course. It's hard to study for a mathematics test but I learned how to do that. My teacher told stories about the history of math and how people discovered the concepts we were studying which was super interesting.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Even when you don't feel like doing your homework, you should. Practice makes perfect when it comes to working numbers. Continuously look over your Unit Circle because it comes in handy all the time. It's okay to not completely understand every concept right away.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I love math and even though its Mr. Thronsberry first year teaching AP Calculus, I think he is doing a great job.

    Course highlights:

Watching Mr. Thornsberry get confused on the questions we would ask him. Other than that, I learned all about deriviates, limits, integrels and more.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Not to sound full of myself, but you need to have a really good understanding of algebra for this class. Most of the kids in my class don't and its very annoying to revisit old algebra topics.
