Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it provided a really good introduction into the subject of biology, and as someone who was thinking about medical school, it really helped me to solidify my thoughts that it was the right path for me.

    Course highlights:

Although this course was difficult, it was definitely a great introduction into what learning at a college level is like. I really enjoyed doing case studies in this class, as they provided a way to use what we had learned so far in a once real scenario.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Always keep up with the readings because it makes studying for exams so much easier. Also try to outline each chapter, so that when you go to study you have a nicely condensed and summarized study guide to use. Taking notes as you go along (both in the readings and in lecture) can help you memorize and remember information more quickly as well.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The course is a great course and prerequisite for medical schools but it can get pretty tough and confusing. Be sure to stay on track and to look over lectures before class!

    Course highlights:

The highlights would be the interactive online assignments because they allowed us to understand what was being covered more in depth which helped during the exams.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

WATCH VIDEOS! If you don't understand something, watch videos on it, don't just shrug it off. YouTube videos were one of the most helpful tools I had this semester.
