    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This was a difficult and demanding class for me, since I am not a science major and was taking it to fill a requirement. There is a lot of graded material, including quizzes, labs, homework, multiple midterms, and graded classwork. However, the professor and teaching assistant were a big help.

    Course highlights:

I learned about star death and formation, how physics is applied to astronomy, the make-up of the universe, and general laws of physics.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would tell students considering this course to go to office hours as much as possible. The professor is very helpful during these and is great at explaining concepts that might have been hard to understand in class. Also, I recommend doing the reading and taking notes on it.
