    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It is a requirement for GPAC, and it is very clear throughout the semester that the students do not care about the course. Professor Turner is nice and he tries hard but he is just not a good professor in any capacity. You will be forced to teach yourself the textbook & use his notes on blackboard to study for the exams.

    Course highlights:

There are only 3 exams and 1 homework assignment, each worth 25% of your grade. He does not take attendance & I'd say at least half of the class skips every class. The highlight is that it's fairly easy (at least when compared to Calc or Stats). The downfall is that it does require a lot of self-motivation and effort. You do actually learn a lot about the political system in the U.S. and how politicians are elected in different kinds of elections. You also learn how to read a math textbook over and over again until you understand each theory.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't go to class if you don't want to, every time I went I thought it was a waste of my time. Do read his notes on blackboard every week & review them before each exam and homework assignment. Do your homework!! I cannot emphasize this enough. Do the homework & try really your absolute best to get 100% on every homework assignment! In the end it counts as 25% of your grade and because the exams are hard you will need that fluffer. Also, see the TA if you are struggling, it also helps a lot to study with friends (if you have friends in the class, if not, make new ones).

    | Would not recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

OK class. Did not learn much. The class consisted of playing video games and checking out the girls in class.

    Course highlights:

Highlights was finishing it. When I gloriously walked out of the final knowing I had an A in the class.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

I would say as long as you are not stupid you should be able to pass this course no problem. Unfortunately, there are a lot of stupid people at this school.
