    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It is a rigorous course full of information and hands on experience. It is a high level course, but has fun experiments. The teacher was outstanding and worked hard to make sure everyone was safe and learned from experiment; however, she doesn't slow down class for students falling behind.

    Course highlights:

I loved the experiments we did in labs. I learned a lot about bonds, organic chemistry, shapes, acids and bases, and so much more about chemistry.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

I encourage good students who want to learn to take the class. You must devote time and work to keep up and understand the material because it goes fast and you are going to be in trouble if you fall behind.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This course is very straightforward and is a good course to take when you are already taking too many AP's to handle but you would genuinely still want to learn science.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course include the large amount of group work during class, since it creates a productive atmosphere when there is a lot of collaboration going on and many students are building off of each others' ideas.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't slack off, and make sure to try your best to participate when you are with your science lab table, since everyone should be pulling their weight.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course because the teacher actually makes you think. He isn't one of those teachers that gives you the answers or tells you why you are wrong. Mr. Dickson will make you contemplate your work and make sure you are confident in your work before you turn it in. I succeeded in this class and it was because my brain was always being stimulated.

    Course highlights:

The most important thing I learned from this course was being able to struggle through my work. Even if you wanted to give up he didn't allow you because he never said if you were right or wrong. He asked you what you thought of your work. Of course, if you were confused you could come in after class for help, but you were always challenged to work through the problems.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

You cannot slack if you are interested in this course. Once you start to slack you will be lost in class discussion and you will fail the pop quizzes. There are not that many tests in this course so if you decide not to study, the chances of you getting an A will be very slim.
