Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend taking AP or advance because it prepares you for the college and you learn so many new things that'll be useful in the future.

    Course highlights:

It helped me score higher on the ACT, i learned many new vocabulary words, how to annotate anything you can read, and also how to write better essays.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Study and work hard each and every chance you get. and ask your teacher if you need help with anything.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I highly recommend that students challenge themselves with this rigorous English course. English III AP is a wonderful course for any student seeking in depth knowledge regarding rhetoric and its lasting effects on society. Additionally, this course allows students to explore rhetoric in a creative way by participating in many original projects and presentations such as composing an ode or an essay about his or her personal life.

    Course highlights:

The major highlights of this course were actually analyzing the different pieces we read. I really loved exploring the language, the tone, and the actual mood of each piece to really comprehend its true message. Additionally, I enjoyed the class discussions we shared. It was very interesting to realize that as people we can read or hear the same thing yet interpret it in completely different manners. I loved being able to discuss current and interesting events because it added a more social element to the course.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Any student considering taking English III AP should have very strong comprehension skills. I would advise studying a variety of vocabulary that can be used in rhetorical, synthesis, and argument essays. One of the main components of composing a body of work in English III AP is being able to effectively do so through enriched (and thought provoking) vocabulary.
