    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

The professor is very passionate about what he talks about so class discussions are always interesting. The class isn't too difficult and you'll definitely leave learning something new.

    Course highlights:

Various aspects of African America history from slavery to things that connect us today. Learning about how Africans across the world connect was very interesting.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Join the groupme and be aware of due dates. The class isn't too difficult but take it seriously because the topic you're learning really is amazing. Also always turn in your mbongi's!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it because it is a quintessential piece of the Howard Experience to take this course. It is truly an enlightening course, which I recommend to take early in your college career.

    Course highlights:

Every discussion in his class was interesting. I would liken each day in class to a interactive Ted Talk. I learned a great deal in his course but I was particularly interested in the transatlantic slave trade.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to each class and be involved.
