    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course provides information and teaches protocols that can be utilized in any microbiology lab. What is learned in this course can be useful in future internships and/or careers.

    Course highlights:

From a simple soil sample I was able to gather an isolated population of an individual bacteriophage, submit it to a national database and send off my sample to get it analyzed and sequenced.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

You should be able to clearly understand DNA, bactriophages, and other concepts learned throughout the course. Read through the guide and be able to quickly pick up and execute protocols.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

It was pretty difficult. It's your first real course out of high school.

    Course highlights:

Completing the course with a B. It's as if he wants you to fail.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Take it only if you are serious about being a biologist or doctor.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Form study groups so if you miss class someone can tell you what happened. And he releases the answers to test the next so study those because he repeats questions on future tests

    Course highlights:

There weren't any highlights of this course

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Sit close to the front as Dickson does not speak loud
