    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This course is the epitome of Black Pride & Black excellence. It is very informative and more based on your intake of knowledge than it is on your grade. Dr. Carr really wants his students to absorb the info he's giving and to put it to use in the everyday world.

    Course highlights:

Sitting in the classroom and just listening to Dr. Carr. Not writing, not watching films, not the guest speakers, etc. DR. CARR.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be ready to learn and have an open mind. The course will take you through emotions and challenge you to think outside the box.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend this class to everyone because of the style of teaching he uses, the knowledge and wisdom he has, the passion to educate students on Afro American Studies and his work ethic.

    Course highlights:

Having prior knowledge to some history of Afro American Studies, he taught me so much more than what my pervious high school teacher taught me . I learned about the Africa Diaspora, what the definition of an mbonji was, and other African history.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Get to know Dr.Carr. He is an amazing professor and so passionate in teaching students about African culture.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The content of the class is easy and interesting. Dr. Carr will have all your attention each class. Dr. Carr is also very nice and understanding when it comes to grades, especially if you come to class or go to his office hours.

    Course highlights:

I think the best part about this class is the readings. If he assigns books, READ THEM! I promise they'll be good reads.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Stay connected with the professor, he'll have your back if you need anything. And go to class for yourself, I promise you'll learn and it will make the assignments easier.
