    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I did not really learn anything in this course. The class was too large to really be applied in general.

    Course highlights:

The history was fascinating. Also, Dr. Carr' style of teaching is very interesting.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Just do the work. Be sure to join the GroupMe.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr.Beatty was an exceptional professor who kept the class interested with his passion for the subject matter. He continued to bring the best out of us as a class, and gave great insight into the depths of African-American history.

    Course highlights:

One of the most profound moments of the class was writing our names in Egyptian Hieroglyphics after discussing the history behind the decryption of the ancient Egyptian writing. I learned about the many years historians labored over the discovery of Egyptian writings.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Attending class is a must to receive the most out of the class. You must take notes during Dr.Beatty's lectures as the concepts he teaches about will be beneficial when writing essays for the class.

Phenominal teacher and hands on teaching style!

    Course highlights:

History of my ancestors along with the history of my parents in the United States for the past 70 years.

    Advice for students:

Pay attention to his teaching and examples. Very little success came from book learning.
