Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Dickson is a great professor with lots to pass on. He speaks a bit low but that's just how he is.To pass his course just ensure you attend the lectures, read ahead of class and ask questions if you don't understand. Please read the textbook and keep up with his powerpoints. Also, more often than not, he is always available to help during his office hours.

    Course highlights:

My favourite part of BIOL 102 was actually Physiology. The other sections were also interesting but I am just more interested in the human anatomy. The lectures were engaging and we learnt most of the organ systems. The lab practicals were also great.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Read ahead of the class and try to study using the textbook. There are lots of online materials to explain what you don't understand. Do not wait until the last minute to study for exams and quizzes, also, if you don't understand a topic visit the Professor during office hours or ask a fellow classmate. The PowerPoints are also good support material for the textbook, so read them.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It was a class that many people had to take. It was a large lecture course, and many people slid through it without investing too much time or effort. It was easy enough if you put adequate effort into the class to show up, take notes, and study for exams.

    Course highlights:

I did not learn anything new in this class, because it was a general prerequisite that most people, myself included, had already taken in high school.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would say to read the book, show up to class, go to lab, and put in enough effort to pass the class. It is not difficult, it just requires work to do well. Do not slack on the class, because it is not meant to be difficult.
