Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This is an interesting course for an Econ elective. Professor Kurban is very easy going and makes the course palpable.

    Course highlights:

Working on the research assignment was tedious but extremely informative. Choose your topic wisely and always prepare an alternative topic just in case you hit a snag. Do the homework assignments because those will help you with your paper. It was interesting to learn about how gentrification occurs exactly and what surprising factors impact the process.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Professor Kurban provides slides so please utilize those and help your fellow students, you may not know what they or going through. Likewise, they may be able to help you with material you don't understand at some point. Do not wait until the last minute to start your paper. START YOUR PAPER AS SOON AS YOUR ABSTRACT GETS APPROVED!!!
