Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course teaches students more than how to write a perfect essay. It forces them out of their comfort zones and to learn more about their history. Dr. Fraser is really passionate about his work and his passion is infectious. An appreciation for reading and analyzing will also be developed.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were the essays we were given to write. I appreciated the fact that the class had a theme, hegemony. Before doing this course, I had never heard about hegemony. Our weekly readings tackled the theme, and the class discussions were always interesting.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

It is imperative that students do the homework assigned each week. The quizzes are based on the homework questions. Additionally, answering all the questions in the essay prompts gives you the opportunity to earn full marks. Finally, do not be afraid to participate in class. Points are earned from participation.
