Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This is one of the best courses I've ever been able to take. You are able to learn so much in this course, and what you are learning is valuable, interesting information.

    Course highlights:

You learn everything from evolution and how biological systems grow to how living systems interact and the earth works as a whole.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

You need to be able to be on top of your reading and never get behind. Also, this is a class where you want to fully understand everything - not only because the tests are thorough, but also because it's awesome stuff.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class is the most intriguing class I took in high school. The everyday note style prepares students for college in a way that not many other courses in the high school do, and the knowledge I learned in that class I still retain and use every day.

    Course highlights:

The class begins with an introduction to biology and chemistry, then continues on an in-depth coverage of life studies. The first big idea covers the process of evolution and its effects on life today. The second big idea is concerning the biological systems and their activities, while the third big idea covers how living systems work. The final big idea is about how biological systems interact.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

You need to take all of the notes that are put up on the board and read the textbook in depth. Keeping up with the work every day is essential to understanding in class and not falling behind.
