    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It is an extremely rigorous course that teaches students not only how to learn but how to prepare, organize, hypothesize, improvise and use the brain they were given.

    Course highlights:

Muscles/bones of the body. How body systems work and interconnect.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't second guess yourself, go with your gut, trust your instincts. Do all of the work and make sure you learn all of the information. Ask for help if needed!!!

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course is a step up from Honors Chemistry. For those that are chem lovers like I am, this course is able to go further into detail able to truly teach you what chemistry is.

    Course highlights:

This course was able to show me what kind of things it means to be a chemist. Buffers were my favorite topic to go into detail about because it applied to real life solutions that people use for an upset stomach.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I suggest studying and reading further into each topic outside of the classroom. It helps to know about the subject before you dive into it.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course has a unique flipped classroom approach that helped students learn the material much better and easier than traditional classroom style.

    Course highlights:

In this course we learned about various aspects of chemistry, including acids and bases, organic chemistry, nuclear chemistry, quantum theory, history of chemistry, redox reactions, and stoichiometry. The highlights were the experiments and lab activities we did a few times a month, using balls, pegs, and screws to model organic molecules, and being able to take notes from the 5-10 minute videos at home and then reviewing the concepts in class.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

To succeed one just needs to watch the videos for homework and pay attention in class, and if they need help go to the teacher, he is very kind and loves to help anyone understand.
