Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The class is extremely relevant and educational. Mrs. Freeman does an amazing job of relating it to current events, for example: the day before the election this year, all the seniors got out of 2nd and 3rd to do a "mock election" where we had "Donald Trump" and "Hillary Clinton" give mock speeches. We all voted at the end as well. She genuinely wants you to understand the material and for you to be an educated citizen and informed voter.

    Course highlights:

The highlight has definitely been the mock election that I described earlier. It was very immersive and exciting. Having the class during an election year was also incredible because we often watched news clips or SNL skits that related to the election. It was fantastic getting to learn about bias in the media and then actually watch it happen.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't go in there expecting an easy grade. You definitely have to work for it, but Mrs. Freeman makes sure that you have everything you need to succeed.
