Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It is a great introduction to the challenges and highlights of an AP course.

    Course highlights:

Some highlights of this course include the section on the ancient Middle East and the civilizations that developed in South America.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I suggest reading the textbook and actively taking notes during lectures and in class activities. I also suggest studying the vocabulary words because they will come up a lot during the AP exam/

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course was very challenging at first because it was my first AP course, but after accommodating myself to the amount of homework given, AP courses became easier for me.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course was learning about ancient civilizations and how people adapted overtime. My favorite units from this class were the ancient African and Middle Eastern ones.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

My best advice would be to read through each chapter and take detailed notes as a reference. The most important part of this class is the vocabulary.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

World History is an extremely valuable course, that teaches about the development of the world as we know it. It is an informative and detailed course, and while it is most definitely difficult, the knowledge gained is priceless.

    Course highlights:

Beginning from the earliest eras, AP World History teaches, in detail, the history of the migration and development of humanity. The course teaches an enormous amount of history, from the Age of the Roman Empire, to the conquests of the Mongols, and even into recent history, such as World Wars I and II. All of these events were vital in the development of our world, and learning about them is knowledge that everyone should have.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

AP World History is by no means an easy course, and if success is something you desire, self discipline and hard work is something vital in passing the course and the AP test. Reading and note-taking are two important abilities needed, and the course will require large amounts of each. However, if enough work is done, the rewards of the information and college credit are worth the work.
