    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class is a lot of fun and is a great way to apply all the science you have learned like chemistry and physics into one topic. You also get to learn a lot of interesting things about how the animal kingdom works such as things like behaviors. This class is great if you have a curious mind and like digging deeper into things and I personally really enjoyed it!

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about behavior, which to me was fascinating. We also go very deep into energy which is interesting because it ties back a lot with physics. I personally loved this teacher because she helped the student truly understand the material through labs and class discussions which were always helpful.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not go into class clueless. If you know a section you are about to go over just skim the chapter or watch a video. This helps because when the teacher explains you will have background knowledge already and be able to ask deeper level questions and remember more.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

First, for all of those students who like science, you found the right place. The teacher is great and gives all his passion and excitement for biology and makes the impossible to let the students understand the content of the marvelous biology.

    Course highlights:

Till now, we learned many things about evolution and even things you couldn't really think of. We learned about speciation, causes of evolution, impacts, and reading phylogenetic trees.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would advise them to keep track on everything, because this cours is cummilative and needs consintration.in addition to paying attention and doing all work on time.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

While taking biology, I learned more about the human body, and all living things, as well as ecosystems, and molecular functions.

    Course highlights:

I loved learning about DNA, RNA, and genetic disorders. I never fully realized how complex the human body is until I took this class.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

To succeed in any class, biology or not, you need to have a set routine at home for studying/homework. Spending ten minutes on a worksheet that requires at least a half hour does you no good in learning the material. It helped my tremendously to set aside twenty-thirty minutes and go through the study guide, or read the chapter a week or two in advance from the testing date, rather than cramming the night before. When learning in class, I found it beneficial to take my own notes down during class rather than using someone else's thoughts in preparation for an exam.
