This class was tough.
I would recommend this course to anyone who is remotely interested in the hard sciences. His lectures, labs, and readings are- even though difficult- very interesting and you become a better person in his class.
This is probably one of the most rigorous courses I have taken in high school. It taught not only the high level chemistry, but much more about who you are as a person. Mr. Hargraves ensures that you grow as an individual in his class, and holds you accountable for all actions you take. It was the first course in which I realized that I was truly maturing and becoming more of an adult. He teaches the work quite well and creates a very difficult course, but it is definitely worth it in the end. You complete his class with a sense of pride in your heart and a new found maturity you didn't even realize you didn't have.

Advice for students:
I would recommend taking notes and finding as many sources you can for studying. Write in your book (if allowed, if not then use sticky notes like I did) and outline every chapter. It is also imperative that you do all of the homework given that night, no matter the amount. Even if it seems insurmountable, it isn't and is definitely worth it because he will be talking about it the next day.
