    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it to students that are willing to put in the work and time-consuming effort into this class. Also, you need to seriously take this class seriously and genuinely have an interest in biology because I guarantee that you will fail if you don't.

    Course highlights:

It teaches you a lot and prepares you for college. Also by passing the exam you get to skip two science classes in college. You learn about genetics, cell cycle, macromolecules, meiosis, photosynthesis, cellular respiration, evolution, cell communication, and the list goes on.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Writing what you understood, KhanAcademy, and taking biology before AP Bio. Don't try to memorize, you need to actually understand the concept and how it works and to connect them to previous chapters and to other things that yuo've learned.

    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend any advanced course for that matter. Advanced placement courses prepare you for college and tough classes at universities and help you create study habits that you'll ultimately need in college. Also it gets you away from memorization and really pushes you to your potential through critically thinking and analyzing instead of throwing random facts back out. It needs the ability to understand tough concepts and relate to every other topic you learned in that course (the ability to make connections). This is extremely beneficial because it ultimately makes you smarter and you wont need to rely on anything.

    Course highlights:

I learned concepts of studying life, species, behavior and so on and it made me create connections between concepts I didn't know were related at all. It extremely interesting and crazy how things work so critically and with precise time to balance life on earth.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Read when instructed, take labs seriously and be prepared to think outside the box. Have high expectations but if you get a grade you don't like don't give up instead be optimistic and enjoy the interesting topics you go over.
