    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course is very challenging and requires a lot of studying and memorization. The content starts out very basic but becomes more complex further into the class.

    Course highlights:

I definitely learned a lot more about the anatomy of the body and it's functions. Then, I learned about how people think and learn and what people actually upon when making decisions. For example, a more Cognitive approach to a problem would be very logical and thought based than a person who's evolutionary and can adapt to the problem.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

It's not easy but it's not hard either, study groups help a lot.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

AP Psychology is a great course because it is fairly easy and the topics studied are very interesting

    Course highlights:

One interesting topic learned in this class about motivation. Different people are motivated by different things and it is compelling to learn what those things may be.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Pay attention to the lectures, they are where most of the information is obtained.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Until you die, your body never turns off completely. There are so many things going on in your body, day in and day out, its unfathomable. And just the mental processes alone are astounding. AP psychology opened me up to a world of these everyday, continuous mental processes. It is such a fascinating subject, that you can see in real life, in your own life. You will find answers for why people might act a certain way or why you are feeling a certain way and what is causing it. It is, to me, the mist fascinating thing when you can almost immediately apply something in the classroom to everyday life, and even more fascinating when it is your very own life.

    Course highlights:

The course covered many different topics, from the beginning of psychology and the major studies that were the basis for many studies to come. To the biological level and how mental processes and the biology of the body coincide, and so much more.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

You must do the readings. It is the only way to thrive in the class. And don't take it just because it is an AP, take it because you are intrigued. Many kids who took it because it was an AP didn't thrive as well as the kids who were intrigued. Along with this comes a good work ethic. There is no way to succeed in any class with out applying yourself, and an AP class will require much more.
