Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course because it is fun and exciting! My teacher Ms.Thomas engaged with the students making every day something different. She would always give journals every day and we would write how we feel.

    Course highlights:

European literature, our first story was beowolf which was interesting because it was my first learning about an epic hero. My first Shakespeare story Macbeth. A real drama where desire could be fatal. Ms.Thomas question for us was "If you knew your fate would you go for it?" At first everyone said yes but our perspective changed when we read the book. In particular he went to chase his fate the wrong way.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Study! Not the day of the test. Ms.Thomas test are detailed and you may miss important details. Keep your binder organized and not out of order numerical order is preferred. Have fun!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Ms. Jones is the greatest of all times.

    Course highlights:

This course challenged my ability to read, understand what I was reading, and intimately acquaint myself with the persons that I was reading about.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Always develop and stick to a plan for daily uninterrupted study time. Having no plan is a plan to fail.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Humanities was a course that students with the performing arts curriculum participated in. We learned about the various traditions, and ways of people of different ethnic backgrounds and cultures.

    Course highlights:

The best part about Humanities was being able to make PowerPoint presentations about the information we learned about the different cultures, and even being able to bring in items from that culture.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Have an open mind, and don't be too quick to shut out new information. Even if it isn't something you particularly enjoy, be open enough to engage, because you may learn something from it.
