Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

love. love. LOVE this course. This course spends a week on different religions around the world. The chart we completed dove into the origins of the cosmos. belief of God (or not), views on good and evil and more. It also noted different festivals and practices. It was an eye opening experience to say the least. I thought a week was an interesting time frame to learn about each religion, but this is my third world religion class and it has taught me a completely different aspect than the other two did before it. I don't think there is prereq for this class. The instructor was amazing, he was very quick to answer any all issues you may need addressing. He was very helpful with all his feedback and he respected all the students. If I could take another class like this I would in a heartbeat. As a student, we all know how hard and hectic working, being a parent, and going to school may be. This class was a breath of fresh air, even though a lot of research was needed, it was a smooth class.

    Course highlights:

I loved the openness of the group in its entirety. We all respected each others opinion and we were able to move forward throughout the weeks with open minds.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Religion is something you should always approach with an open mind. For this course, you will most definitely need to keep an open mind in the forefront before researching a religion as directed. Whether you practice a certain religion and you are totally against X,Y, Z, this class is not designed for you to list all the issues and argue against it. This course is designed to open your mind a week at a time to help you realize why they think and act they way they do. It takes you around the Globe and can really be quite the adventure if you allow it to be. If you are the kind of person that neglects to open your mind to other cultures then this class is not for you.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Please do not take Professor Malcolm King. He is the worst. He is the type of professor that is tedious about every little thing. Otherwise I loved learning about different religions. You have to take the course

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about different religions and how they do different religious rituals and also how it relates to culture. We had to do charts on different religions each week. Please do not plagiarize in his class.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Change professors or if you take him get ready for a ride of your life. Stay focused and don't plagiarize and you will be okay.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course and the way in which it was taught, encouraged me to revisit/revise how I perceived or thought about other religious traits.

    Course highlights:

I learned to respect the differences about religious concepts and their organizations; also, most religions are more closely related than I first thought.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Have an open mind to learning about this topic, you may find out that there are some familiar/similar attributes/traits about your religious beliefs.
