Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

If you love learning visually, this is that class for you. Dr. Michael Curran really brings the teaching to life. He gives feed back to his students that really causes them to engage in the class even more.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course for me was discussing about the myths of different cultures, discussing different ancient mysteries, and learning how cultures around would express themselves through art whether painting, theater, or writing. The most important thing that I learned was that even though our cultures are different, we all share the same values on way or another.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Learn as much as you can, out of the course. Although it may not relate to your major, it is a great conversation starter. I have had conversations with others regarding the things that I have learned in this class.

I leaned a lot of things I did not know about Mesopotamian culture.

    Hours per week:

    Advice for students:

Take plenty of notes and actually thoroughly read the chapters.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Garone had the most interesting lectures. And he broadened our horizons with the music folders. This was a very intense class.

    Course highlights:

I can now tell you differences in architecture between Romanesque and Gothic. I loved the artwork and sculptures. The tombs were astonishing.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

This course is a lot of reading, but so enjoyable. You learn more about how things came to be in the world today that now makes sense.
