This class was tough.
Course Overview:
She sets her problems up different from the book so when you try to use example problems from the books it is hard to follow.
Course highlights:
The highlights were her midterm and final exams . They are multiple choice and she makes the questions easier.
Hours per week:
6-8 hours
Advice for students:
Go to her tutoring classes every week even if you do understand the material.
Not too easy. Not too difficult.
Course Overview:
I would recommend this course because Mr. Meyer teaches calculus in a way that you can understand the material, and it is easy to ask questions because he doesn't just explain the material without going into detail about it.
Course highlights:
I gained an in-depth sense of the concepts that make up calculus and also I realized my potential in math because I was much more successful in this course.
Hours per week:
3-5 hours
Advice for students:
I would tell students to remain focused in calculus because if you lose focus, the material can go right over your head since it is very complex to understand.
Not too easy. Not too difficult.
Course Overview:
Calculus isn't as hard as some students try to make it seem. Especially if you end up in Mr. Meyer's class. He's a great teacher, and shows a plethora of examples on how to solve problems.
Course highlights:
I learned mostly that there's almost always multiple ways to solving a problem or an equation. You just have to find the method that suits you best.
Hours per week:
3-5 hours
Advice for students:
Make sure you take good notes in class, and do all the homework. Its not an overload of homework, so don't worry.
