Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The work is typical of what you would expect from an AP class. Material can be difficult but is understandable if you study. Eb is a great teacher and I learned a lot.

    Course highlights:

I loved the genetics portion of this course. We learned about comparing DNA, analyzing Punnett Squares and predicting offspring traits.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Before the Midterm and Final, do the extra credit review booklets, everything you need for the test is put in there and it is good at least for me to write it all down

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course to those students interested in biology and biological sciences. It was an interesting and very engaging class that was brilliantly taught. I thoroughly enjoyed the class, and because of that I found no problem with studying. However some may struggle. This course is tough but, if one puts the work in, one will definitely see results.

    Course highlights:

I truly enjoyed the subject. My favorite part of the course was studying human diseases and why they spread, genes and what they control, and studying animal behavior. These topic's seemed to explain so many things that I had seen in my life but never understood. This class opened my eyes to an entirely new way of looking at the world and helped me to narrow down my interests for a college major.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

The teacher leads you in the right direction but you also have to do some work on your own. Buy an Ap book to help you study for the tests and the Ap test. Also, if you can, study with others before tests. I cannot say it enough: STUDY, STUDY, STUDY! It will pay off so much in the end! Everything ties itself together and make so much sense in the end, if you do.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course was extremely interesting and informational. It sparked a lot of personal interest in biology and the medical field as well as gave me insight to what a heavier college workload will be like.

    Course highlights:

I learned about biology from the molecular and cellular level all the way up to large ecosystems. What sparked my interest the most was learning about human biology, genetics, cancer, and body systems.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to be in class as much as possible and utilize your textbook. Reading the textbook had a huge impact on my understanding of concepts throughout the course.
