    | Would highly recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This is a very informative course, and is very integral to learning object oriented programming.

    Course highlights:

The base concepts of object oriented programming in Java. We learned all about various data types, loops, going as far as learning about two-dimensional arrays.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

This is a great intro course, but be prepared to ask questions. Falling behind in this course is not an option.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class is a necessary first step in becoming a programmer, yet much of the learning will be up to you as the student. Do not expect to only attend lectures and do well without significant work outside of lecture.

    Course highlights:

The ability to use creative problem solving skills to take large problems and solve them incrementally.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Study and practice writing code on a daily basis.
