    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because the professor connects with you on a personal level. She teaches the course in no rush, because she wants you to pass and do well.

    Course highlights:

This course truly taught me the basics on accounting, which later on helped me into taking more challenging accounting courses like Intermediate accounting.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

My advice is to pay attention in class, and take notes because that is what will help you in the tests. As well as reading the textbook on stuff that you do not understand, since she bases a lot of her powerpoint on the book itself.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course. The skills one takes away from Financial Accounting are very necessary and rewarding to someone who is serious about a financial degree.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course was completing a homework perfectly and getting the satisfaction from knowing your time spent in class was worthwhile. I learned how to create Balance Sheets, Income Statement, Cash Flow Statements, etc. all very important for an accounting major and career.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

To succeed in this course one has to pay very close attention to the specific steps shown during the lecture. It also helps to read the textbook and learn definitions so you know exactly what a Balance Sheet and other sheets entail.
