Always Do the Reading
Not too easy. Not too difficult.
The course allowed us to decode and understand the messages of mass media. Based on the interpretive tools you have your decoding method could be different. This skill brought depth the class due the clash of ideas and the constant involvement of the students and the professor.
Learning more about other cultures and how media in the United States can affect other countries revealed things that I never truly indulged in through thought. Media can cause a cultural change or bring certain cultural aspects to a halt.
Hours per week:
Advice for students:
Make sure that you do the assignments for class which includes key concepts and reading questions. It's always best to take the quizzes after the last time you have the class during the week while the information is still fresh. It is also important to utilize your notes and take you time during the quizzes. Look over you quiz answers while you can and look into going to office hours. The professor is very helpful and is open to answering and clarifying any misunderstandings.
