Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It's high school so this course is a necessity, but if you end up in Mr. Gilbert's class it be a breeze. Simply because of the assignments they are informative but not too demanding.

    Course highlights:

I learned plenty of historical facts throughout my time in that class

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Take your notes and listen to whatever the teacher says, but this applies for every class

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

AP US History was a very fun course, our class did many skits and group projects. There were daily quizzes but those were easy if you read the chapter. Our teacher was able to answer any questions I had and this was very beneficial if I didn't understand something.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of the course were when we were learning about wars. This was intriguing and it was interesting to see what people do in times of war.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the chapters or at least read a summary.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The class is very interesting for those who enjoy history so if you like that, go for it. There is a lot of memorization too. However, personally, I'm more of a science person so I did not like the class as much as some of my more historically inclined counterparts.

    Course highlights:

We went over every single U.S. president, ever, in the history of U.S. presidents, and we had to memorize them. For me, that was a highlight because I could name all the presidents in order. I have since lost that amazing talent but that is certainly something you can make into a game with your classmates in order to make studying a little more fun and history a little more interesting.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Read, notecards, read, notecards. Over and over. That's what helped me succeed. A lot of people don't do well because this class does require a lot of reading and people skim. But trust me, the reading is worth it in the end.
