    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

If you are a student looking for a science credit or looking to do something with this in your career path, this course is for you. The classwork and subject material is not hard to grasp and this was one of the easier AP courses I took. However, I did find that I needed to study and prepare myself for a long time before the AP test.

    Course highlights:

Some highlights from this course were the projects we did. There were many different group projects throughout the year over material we had learned, but Mr. Turner always managed to make them interesting and very interactive. I especially liked how for our second semester final, we were given all kinds of different project options that were fun to complete.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't let all your work build up to right before the AP test. Notes were not required when I took the class so it was very easy to slack off and get behind. Even if you don't take notes during lessons, listen to them and try not to let yourself sleep or be on your phone.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This was one of my favorite classes during high school. I would definitely recommend this class, especially for people who are interested in science and the environment. The class was very engaging and allowed all the students to incorporate creativity and originality in projects that enhanced learning about the environment in interesting ways. For example, we created a bird feeder project one time, a map of our own city, and even a menu (and creation) of sustainable foods.

    Course highlights:

From this course, I felt like I had a better understanding of environmental science. I learned about the importance of the different aspects in the environment and how all life affects one another. As an environmental enthusiast, taking this course increased my interest in helping the environment and promoting conservation and preservation. I also learned how to cooperate with others in group assignments and contribute sufficiently to class discussions.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would tell students to pay attention in class and participate in discussions because those are what stimulate learning. I would also recommend studying the notes, cooperating in groups, and using time wisely in class and out of class. Taking this class can greatly benefit educational experience if students put in the effort!
