    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The class was good but I had a bumpy start with the teacher who didn't like me at first. Now however we get along very well and she has helped me on multiple occasions.

    Course highlights:

The best and worst part of the year was reading The Great Gatsby. This is because while we did get to do lots of interactive work and analyzed both movies. We also got our hopes and dreams crushed by this book that has no good themes or outcomes.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Stay on top of writing assignments or your grades will drop out from under you.

    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would highly recommend this course to better your education in reading and writing. Ms.Wallace is by far one of the most thoughtful and flexible teachers I've encountered. The work was always challenging, but Ms.Wallace stayed after classes to be sure her students had the help they needed. Also, if you ever needed help with an essay for other classes or applications, Ms. Wallace welcomed students to come after school to receive assistance.

    Course highlights:

Ms.Wallace often assigned two essays at once, which helped me get used to meeting deadlines and managing my time efficiently. Because of her writing assignments, I learned how to properly compose and revise essays. I also enjoyed her group assignments, which helped me learn how to work well with others.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Ask for help. All questions count because you never know who may feel the same as you but doesn't have the confidence to speak up. Also getting to know your classmates will help the course. I found that making friends outside of class work in my favor. For example, when I was sick for a week i had a friend taking the same class as me who would call every night to not only to check on me but to update me on the classwork & homework that I missed.
