Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this class because it teaches students about the how the U.S came to be and the different branches and beliefs of the U.S government. This is important because it helps students develop views for the future.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of AP US History would be learning about the different government parties that developed in the U.S. Like the populist party that was created by farmers.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I suggest reading the U.S. History Book and taking College Board questions to study for the exam.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class was one of my favorites throughout my whole high school career. I learned so much in just a two semester course. The teacher really goes out of her way to make sure every student understand the information given that specific day. The class does have a major workload but it's definitely worth it. I would take the class all over again if I could.

    Course highlights:

Learning about the history of America. We learn about the history of the world before we do our own country an I really worship we would've learned about it sooner.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Please do it. I was super nervous cause the kids that took it the year before me said it was tough and it was definitely difficult but also definitely worth the time and energy.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

There is a very finite amount of information in this course that, with a good teacher, can be such a fun and entertaining course with a great setup for the AP test and fairly easy credit if you put in a little work.

    Course highlights:

The teacher was fantastic, and in general I learned about the progression about the US government and its culture through time up to present. The AP test is pretty easy in terms of AP tests and fits the history AP tests framework for the most part if you've taken AP World History.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

You're going to have to do the reading if you want to succeed in this class unless you're good at generalizing trends which is another skill I'd start to try to hone if I were you since it really helps the process of understanding history.
