    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I feel like it is important for us to have a grasp on another language and culture. But, I also think that if you aren't going to major in a foreign language then you don't need to take 4 years of it. Learning enough to communicate with others has actually come in handy, so I'd say we really do need those two years of a foreign language to learn what we need to know.

    Course highlights:

I learned some very very cool things about the Spanish culture. I also learned that no other country is more confusing with the way they speak haha. I don't know of any other language that has several ways to speak depending on where you're from.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

For students considering this course, I'd say just don't give up on it and really try to learn it. It's good to know how to speak to the majority of the immigrants coming into the US. It's helpful to be able to understand and not feel like an idiot when talking to some people.
