    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

By far the most useful class I've had in high school! Helped me to learn real life situations in math.

    Course highlights:

In combined math semester 1 we learned about credit, budgeting, checks, different types of bank and credit union accounts, map reading, financing, the list goes on and on! All of these subjects will help me in real life!

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be excited to learn something very worthwhile!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Combined math taught me the basics of life. Combined was the one math class that was important, that did not seem completely pointless. I have struggled with Algebra and Geometry, classes that were required. Combined taught me how to fill out a W-4 form, how to buy a house, how to make purchases that I will eventually know how to make.

    Course highlights:

I gained the knowledge that I will need for real life. I learned how to live on a budget, even though I don't want to live on one. Combined taught me how credit works, how interest works, how everything works.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be patient. Ask questions if you are confused. Sitting in confusion, and not asking for help will make you fall behind. You cannot fall behind, because everything is linked together. If you need additional help, go in and ask for it.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it is preparation for the real world. Before taking combined math, I had no clue how to balance a checkbook, write a deposit slip, or write a check for paying bills. From Mrs. Clark, I learned all of this and more.

    Course highlights:

From taking this course, I learned how to live in the modern world. I learned the difference between a credit and a debit card, why a credit card is a loan, reasons why no credit is as bad as bad credit, and how to keep your credit in good shape. I wouldn't trade the lessons I have learned about life and finances for anything.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

The best way to succeed in this class is to listen to the teacher and ask questions! There is nothing more valuable then a one on one discussion with one of your favorite teachers. Mrs. Clark is a very kind, helpful teacher who knows how to teach to many different people with different learning styles.
