Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I throughly enjoyed Physics as it taught me more about how the every day things around me were so much more intricate than what I previously thought.

    Course highlights:

We did many hands on activities which helped me learn much quicker and easier than if I were to just read a lesson out of a textbook. I was able to learn a lot about the mechanics of the most difficult objects to the smallest of items.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

If you enjoy learning about the deeper connections and inter workings of items than I would highly recommend taking this course. One piece of advice I would give to any student considering this course is to be able to work with people as a team. With as many projects and labs we did in groups it's much easier if you're able to be effective and comfortable working with others rather than trying to figure out difficult things on your own.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

It was very challenging and rewarding! Learning how to adjust different equations to fit different sorts of problems is rewarding and worthwhile.

    Course highlights:

Learning how everyday real world scenarios work and connect together is very rewarding!

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Pay attention in class and do your homework.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The class is extremely fun and engaging. Despite seeming strict at first, Mr. Roup is funny and helpful, and makes even dull lectures interesting. I actually enjoyed his physics class so much that I decided to take AP physics (also taught by him) even though it was a class I originally wasn't thinking about.

    Course highlights:

I think the section on gravity was one of my favorites. Roup took us to the bleachers on the football field and had us recreate Galileo's Pisa experiment. The class is fun mostly because of all the labs we do in class. We've ridden on bikes, played with magnets, and used a slingshot to launch tennis balls across the halls. The class is definitely not just lectures and memorization, the labs are engaging and really help you learn the material.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

You need to actually turn worksheets/labs in, and do your work. The tests are easy, but only if you have practice using the formulas so completing assignments is key.
