Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend this course to Juniors (if eligible) and Seniors who are not the best at math. I took it in my senior year and it was so beneficial to me. Krupa teaches on a variety of math in this course like pre-calc, algebra, and geometry. It's like the best of all worlds and he is a great teacher. He uses different techniques to teach you what you need to know and really cares about math and the students in he class. It was a good refresher course to take right before college. We reviewed really everything from 8th to 12th grade. Like SAT prep, but better.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about pre-calc and algebra. We did a lot of practice problems and had homework to reinforce what we learned. The work load was reasonable with one project about making your own compass. I really learned a lot about cos, sin, and tan. We would have to get up and race each other on the blackboard to see who could answer the questions fastest. We worked in teams and won bonus points on tests for getting answers right. The repetition made us really good at answering the questions quickly and correctly and since it was like a game, we didn't even notice we were doing math.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Do your homework if you want an A. You need it to reinforce what you are learning. Yes, it can be boring, but the more you see a problem, the easier it is to answer it come test time.

    Course Overview:

Wonderful teacher. He has made math one of my favorite subjects.

I took the AP class and was impressed that at the end of the year the teacher wanted to get a picture of himself with each of us.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Taking and passing this course will save you time and money in college.

    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The professor was not very knowledgeable about the subject and was not very helpful in learning the material.

    Course highlights:

The professor did not give out a lot of homework.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would take a different teacher than her, but if you have her, go to other teachers for help and tutoring to make sure you actually learn something.
