Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I totally recommend this class. Not only is it very descriptive of the material, it is also very interactive, and students get to try out real life versions of the techniques and concepts studied. For example, in the unit about personality, each person gets to take a personality test to evaluate whether is it accurate about them or not. Even though it is an AP class, and there was a good amount of classwork to complete, it never felt impossible, and I always looked forward to going to class.

    Course highlights:

I should focus on a specific unit or activity that was more exciting than the others, but in all honesty, ALL of them are helpful, fun subjects to study. One highlight of the course was the unit on the structure of the brain, where we all created our own brain model and wore them around the school for a day, showing off our work. I learned so much in this class, and most of it I still apply to my life today, even though the class is well over.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

My advice would be to definitely ask questions in you are shaky on a certain subject. What you learn in the beginning of the year is still applicable at the end of the year, and definitely for the AP test, so don't get lost on a subject. You will most likely need it later.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this class because it gives students a new outlook on human activity. It teaches you the processes of a human and why we do the things we do. i will never forget some of the knowledge i gained from that class that is useful in real life.

    Course highlights:

the highlight of this class was the Psychopath unit. In this unit we looked at some of the most well- known serial killers and studied their life. we came to learn common symptoms or thought processes between them. We learned a lot about bodily function that make us human.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Always read thoroughly in order to fully understand the concepts. The testes are very similar to the AP test, so study hard in order to succeed on the AP test. complete assignments early because there is a lot of IDs.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class because the teacher is great, and works with her students if they need extra help. Also, the curriculum is quite interesting, to figure out how the mind functions and why people act and react differently. Finally, the class, though advanced, is among one of the easier advanced classes because the information is easier to comprehend.

    Course highlights:

The highlights were reading and learning about the different case studies done in the field of psychology. One of the most interesting things I learned is that there are many different levels people must surpass before reaching self-actualization, and not many people reach the highest tier of self-actualization because the content in whatever level they are in.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the chapters when they are assigned, and do the vocabulary because they we definitely help you on your tests, and give a boost in your grade.
