Not too easy. Not too difficult.
Course Overview:
I would recommend this course to anyone looking to further their knowledge of algebra.
Course highlights:
I learned about many new math concepts as well as reviewing some old ones. We touched on trigonometry and learned about polynomials, which was new to me.
Hours per week:
3-5 hours
Advice for students:
Make sure to pay attention when the teacher is going over examples and homework in class. If you're not paying attention, you may miss something and end up completely lost on the homework.
Not too easy. Not too difficult.
Course Overview:
It taught me to fully follow through with my problems and go back to check them. When you find yourself stuck and not wanting to finish, the professor is always there to assist and to break the process down more to where you an understand.
Course highlights:
My mindset became stronger. Being able to get through step by step equations, dealing with fractions and rules with no hesitation. Learned to not give up so easy when I'm confused.
Hours per week:
6-8 hours
Advice for students:
When you come across a section you don't understand, don't be so quick to stop doing the problem and give up. Follow through with the steps , ask questions when your confused , and always be aware of what to study when the test comes. You want to be detailed with your notes to where you can understand how to do something or where you got a answer from.
Pretty easy, overall.
Course Overview:
I would recommend it because unlike a lot of the math classes I've taken like pre calculus, I feel as though I'll actually use some of these math skills in real life.
Course highlights:
In my experience, I found out that algebra 2 gets you ready for pre calculus. A lot of the things you learn in algebra 2 like inequalities, polynomials, radicals, and so on better prepare you for your harder math courses.
Hours per week:
3-5 hours
Advice for students:
You should definitely make sure you take decent notes during class and pay attention. Study your notes at home and do all the homework, it'll help you in the long run.
