    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This content of this course is very challenging and this may be the most difficult class you will take in high school, however the way that the course is designed and structured makes it ideal for high-achieving high school student who want to get a taste of the independence, organization, dedication, and willingness to take initiative that is required for college.

    Course highlights:

From this course, I gained an exposition into the intrinsic motivation and dedication that must be present as a matriculate into college. The teachers will not force student to do the work, but it is vital for success in the class.Topics covered in this class include the following: Stoichiometry, Thermochemisty, Electronic structure of atoms, Chemical bonding and bonding theories, Molecular geometry, Gas properties, Intramolecular forces, Chemical Kinetics,Biochemistry, Nuclear Chemistry, etc.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Keep up with the homework and review a little bit each day, so that the tests are not so overwhelming and you won't have to cram all of the new information back into your head. Ask questions when a concept is very difficult for you! The teacher is always more than willing to help. Also, if you are still having difficulty with a subject, seek video content from other instructions. There are so many positive resources out there. Lastly, form a study group that you can prep and study with before big tests.

Great teacher! Demanding but interesting and extremely knowledgeable

    Course highlights:

I'm in the class right now so it's difficult to identify highlights although the videos and labs are really helpful.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

You need to have an A in Chem 1 and be a good test taker. Also you need to be very accurate and precise because lab notebooks count as test grades.
