Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The class is online, however the weekly discussions were very informative and the course gives you an informative valuable information of the ethical and legal aspects of the health care system. I now have better understanding and appreciation of what the difference and similarities of how the medical field of the ethical and legalities are handled and why the government is so strict on the fines and possible jail time that can be served when the laws are not followed. There is so much information to the ethical and legal issues of the health care system, I was blown away, by can be considered illegal. I really enjoyed the class and Ginger.

    Course highlights:

The legal and ethical aspects of the the health care world is in a class by itself. I learned that what may be innocent and because you may not understand completely, but if you are not compliant with following the laws of private health care information or making sure everything you do is compliant with the ethical part, you can be fined or ever serve jail time. It is the health care manger's responsibility to ensure that they educated on the latest laws, rules, and regulations of the legal ethics of the health care system.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Spend every free moment that you have on this course. There is a lot of information that pertains to the information that is provided and cramming all of the information in, in just a few hours will not allow you to retain the information required for the course. The text book is very good in supplying the information needed for the course and then some. Knowing and understanding the legal and ethical part of the health care systems gives a great foundation to being a great health care administrator.
