Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Unfortunately, this English course is required. You will end up writing a lot of essays and papers. Be prepared. Be sure to Study up on all your appropriate citations and formats.

    Course highlights:

By the end of the course I learned all the proper citations and formats. I also learned how to lengthen papers and still have them sound right. A lot of long papers.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

First off you should never wait till the last minute to write a paper. Don’t procrastinate. Start early and relax. That way you will have time to do all the right research and final corrections that might need to happen.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

basic English course needed for any type of degree or certificate.

    Course highlights:

fairly easy, although getting punctuation down and learning how to break sentences up to eliminate run-ons and factual sentences can be a bit tricky. This class you'll learn how to hone those skills.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Read, read a lot. To help me learn to write and understand how different the types of writing are I read a lot of articles, newspapers, documents, and random news briefs to get a feel for how things should flow.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Instructor Day helped be better grasp the technical parts of writing throughout this course. I received responses quickly from the Instructor and never lacked information from her reccomendations.

    Course highlights:

The highlight in this course for me was the intelliPath assignments each week. I was able to delve deeply into the different areas of writing and gain better understanding in the APA citation information.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would advise students considering taking this course do not procrastinate!! It was hard for me to not put aside writing assignments that were difficult. The only way you get better at anything is by doing it! Running away from things in life that are difficult for you will only make it harder later in life.
