Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class was one of my favorites. The information is extremely interesting and applicable to real life. Reigel is a great teacher and is pretty laid-back with class and homework deadlines as long as you are respectful. It is run more like a college class than any other I have taken in high school. Not a lot of busy work.

    Course highlights:

I was amazed at how much I learned about psychology. I thought I was going to hate learning about the brain, but I actually loved learning about all the neurotransmitters and brain structures. I was also able to learn about many psychological principles that help me understand people's behavior and my own thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't procrastinate. You will get a lot of assignments that aren't due for a long time, but it will be much easier if you do not wait until the last minute. Also, if you pay attention in class and try to get a lot out of it, you won't have to study nearly as much. You will need to direct your own learning and work in this class, because it is geared toward students being independent.
