Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This was a wonderful course. It helped me prepare for all of my future papers in college. Learning the basics of essay writing and source use and citation has been useful in all of the courses I've taken since. I would highly recommend to anyone advanced in English before their first year of college.

    Course highlights:

The course focused on analyzing and synthesis of non fiction sources. The writing focused on whether the writers were successful or not, and why. I learned a lot about critically analyzing sources and forming a cohesive and effective thesis.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure that you have a solid background in reading and writing. You should understand the basics of Grammer before taking this course and have a basic understanding of essay structure and writing. If you struggle reading, this course may prove difficult because many of the pieces are older .
