    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I highly recommend this class. Mr. Ballard is a wonderful teacher and makes the class more interesting with his jokes. IB Biology definitely pushes me to work harder in understanding each topic.

    Course highlights:

Highlights of this class are all the hands-on activities. One of my favorites is the river project where we visited the Arkansas River in 3 locations and collected samples of different things.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

For students considering IB Biology, definitely make sure you are willing to commit to the class. It takes us quite a bit of time, especially during weeks with tests.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It is something challenging, but not hard enough that it is impossible. Helps to teach future skills at a level that is understandable.

    Course highlights:

Learned how to study and retain information, not just for a test but for long term.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be committed to what you are getting yourself into.
